About Andreas

I live in Switzerland and work for a telecommunications company. I have more than 20 years of experience managing IT, and I currently work as a DevOps engineer for system virtualization and automation.

For the last 10 years I've worked mainly with VMware products — which is also why most of my certifications are VMware ones. Right now I'm extending that into Linux and automation more broadly.

At home I run the same kind of lab: trying out new technologies and automating things, from virtualization down to the lights.
